The Meniscus Telescope
The Maksutov System Meniscus Telescope was installed in 1955.

(A) Meniscus lens diameter - 70 cm, Spherical mirror diameter - 98 cm.
(B) Focal length: the main mirror -210 cm, equivalent - 1050 cm.
This Wide-field telescope is designed to observe the various objects in the night sky, and to perform a lot of Photometric or Spectrophotometric measurements. The telescope is equipped with Different Refractive Index Prisms (1, 2, 4, 8, degrees) located in front of the Objective, which allows, if necessary, to perform the spectral classification of stars and the detection of the objects in special class.
